Electro-Comp is a distributor for one of the largest manufacturers of true zero ohm jumper wire products. Jumper wires are used for a multitude of printed circuit board applications such as fusible links, pad to pad interconnects, board to board interconnects, zero ohm resistors, test points and configuration jumpers. These high reliability components have resistance levels less than 0.001 ohms and are manufactured from a soft copper material allowing for a flexible interconnect between two solder joints for a variety of applications. The jumpers are plated in tin for commercial applications or tin/lead for mission critical applications such as medical, aerospace and military. Components are packaged to EIA industry standards for assembly with today’s fully automatic high speed automated surface mount and plated through-hole PCB assembly machines.
Surface Mount Jumpers
SMTJ series jumpers are packaged in surface mount carrier tape for high speed pick and place assembly. The low profile open air under-beam design make them a board designer’s choice for countless applications. SMTJ’s are available today in 1206, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2506, 2510 and 3510 package sizes. Datasheets are available upon request.
Bare Wire series jumpers are available in various wire gauges and wire lengths. These components are packaged in bulk or surface mount tape and reel.
PTH jumpers are available taped in both axial and radial formats for automatic assembly processes or cut to length for manual insertion processes. Bare and insulated jumpers come in a variety of wire gauges and are easily customizable to meet your requirements.
Bulk wire is offered in smaller, more manageable spools and is sold by the pound (Lb.) Spooled wire is available in various wire gauges and can be ordered either plated in tin for commercial applications or tin/lead for mission critical applications such as medical, aerospace and military.
